Jones Group is pleased to announce it will manage the leasing opportunities for the Lake & First Building downtown. The City of Duluth and 1st and 1st Properties have purchased the Lake Superior Bottle Shop building and the businesses by 1st and 1st. The Bottle Shop will remain open until May 31 and then close permanently. The existence of the bottle shop has historically created safety concerns for the neighborhood.

The City, H&G Development and 1st and 1st are working together on a redevelopment plan to upgrade the existing Lake & First office building, provide additional ramped parking, and market rate housing for the downtown work force.

The Lake & First building has 43,000 square feet downtown and will provide highly demanded open office floor plans and parking. Remodeling of the building will begin immediately for new tenants who lease space.
